The Planning Commission of Pakistan (now operating under various restructured forms) is constitutionally and administratively the principal body for national development policy coordination and long-term planning. It prepares Five-Year Plans, Medium-Term Development Frameworks, and coordinates sectoral policies. It functions under the Council of Common Interests for federal-provincial planning coordination.
