Pakistan's dinosaur fossil record includes discoveries from the Pab Range, Balochistan, where Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) continental deposits of the Vitakri Formation have yielded Titanosaurian sauropod (long-necked herbivores) and Abelisaurid theropod (predatory) dinosaur remains. These findings extend the known geographical range of Gondwanan dinosaur faunas and provide evidence of land connections during the Cretaceous.
