Animal behavior is shaped by both genetics (innate) and experience (learned). Animals can learn from past experiences through conditioning, habituation, imprinting, and trial-and-error, which modifies their current behavior. Two animals of the same species do NOT have identical behavior due to individual variation and different experiences. Behavior also varies with context.
