ISACA's Code of Professional Ethics is designed to hold IS auditors to the highest standards of integrity and honest representation. The ethics statement reinforces the fiduciary duty of the auditor to the client and the profession, making it unacceptable to misrepresent findings, violate confidentiality, or act in self-interest at the client's expense.
