Section 11(3) provides that notwithstanding the provisions of sub-section (1), the service of a civil servant in temporary employment or appointed ad hoc shall be liable to termination on fourteen days' notice or pay in lieu thereof. This is the prescribed notice period and is not subject to deviation.
