These three organisms are all Archaebacteria. Their chromatin contains histone-like proteins homologous to eukaryotic core histones (H3 and H4 homologs), which is a unique feature of archaea among prokaryotes. This partly explains why archaea are considered more closely related to eukaryotes in the three-domain classification.
