Pythium is an oomycete (water mould) whose cell wall is composed primarily of cellulose (and glucans), unlike true fungi which have chitin. Pseudomonas and Xanthomonas are bacteria with peptidoglycan walls. Saccharomyces is a yeast with chitin and glucan walls.
