The Holy Quran contains 114 Surahs (chapters). These Surahs vary in length from 3 verses (Surah Al-Kawthar) to 286 verses (Surah Al-Baqarah). The Quran is divided into 30 Juz (parts) for easy recitation during Ramadan. 86 Surahs were revealed in Makkah (Makki) and 28 in Medina (Madani). Each Surah has a distinct name and covers various aspects of faith, law, and guidance.
