Zaboor (Psalms) was revealed to Prophet Daud (David) AS. It is one of the four major revealed books in Islam. Prophet Daud (AS) was blessed with a beautiful melodious voice, and when he recited Zaboor, birds and mountains would join him in glorifying Allah. The Zaboor contained hymns, praises, and wisdom. Unlike Torah and Gospel, the current Psalms in the Bible are considered to retain some original divine content, though altered over time.
