The Muslims conquered Makkah in 630 CE (8 AH). This peaceful conquest occurred after the Quraish violated the Treaty of Hudaybiyah. The Prophet (PBUH) entered Makkah with 10,000 companions. He granted general amnesty to the Meccans, destroyed the idols in the Kaaba, and forgave his former enemies, demonstrating the Islamic principles of mercy and forgiveness.
