Hazrat Mikail (Michael) AS is the angel in charge of rain, sustenance, and natural phenomena. He manages the distribution of provisions to all living creatures and controls weather patterns. Along with Jibreel (Gabriel), Mikail is one of the highest-ranking angels mentioned in the Quran (2:98). While Jibreel brings revelation, Mikail manages the natural order that sustains life on Earth.
