Hazrat Ibrahim (Abraham) AS is called 'Khalilullah' (Friend of Allah). This special title was given because of his complete submission to Allah's will and his willingness to sacrifice everything for Allah, including his son. He is also called 'Abu al-Anbiya' (Father of Prophets) as many prophets descended from his lineage. His life was filled with trials including being thrown into fire, migration, and the command to sacrifice his son—all of which he faced with unwavering faith.
