Article 193(2), as amended by the 26th Amendment 2024, provides: 'A person shall not be appointed as a Judge of a High Court unless he is a citizen of Pakistan, is not less than forty years of age.' This minimum age applies regardless of whether appointment is as an advocate or judicial officer track.
