Basic Scale, Name, and Nature of Post

The recruitment is for the position of Manager I.T, classified under Basic Scale 18 (BS-18). This position is being offered on a contract basis for a period of five (05) years.

Prescribed Qualification and Experience

Candidates can qualify for this position through one of two academic and professional tracks:

First, an MS degree (second division) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission, along with three years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

Alternatively, a BS (four years) degree (second division) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission, along with five years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

According to the official notes, only practical experience acquired after obtaining the prescribed qualification will be considered. Additionally, experience gained in private entities will only be accepted if the entity is formally registered with the SECP, the Registrar of Firms, or any other recognized Regulatory Authority.

Age Limits

The age criteria vary based on gender. For male candidates, the eligible age range is 27 to 40 years plus a 5-year general age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 45 years. For female candidates, the age range is 27 to 40 years plus an 8-year age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 48 years. The age and sex of transgender applicants will be determined according to the details on their CNIC.

Gender, Domicile, and Place of Posting

This position is open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates. The required domicile for applicants is on an All Punjab basis. The final place of posting for the selected candidate will be at the Headquarters' Office in Lahore.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test

If a written test is held, it will consist of a single paper containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 Marks with a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus for this examination is composed entirely of qualification-related questions, which account for 100% of the test.
