Basic Scale, Name, and Nature of Post
The recruitment is for the position of Accounts Officer, classified under Basic Scale 17 (BS-17). This position is being offered on a contract basis for a period of 05 years.
Prescribed Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold an M.Com or MBA (Finance) degree (second division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission, along with one year of experience in the relevant field.
According to the official notes, only practical experience acquired after obtaining the prescribed qualification will be considered. Furthermore, experience gained in private entities will only be accepted if the entity is registered with the SECP, the Registrar of Firms, or any other recognized Regulatory Authority.
Age Limits
The age criteria vary based on gender. For male candidates, the eligible age range is 24 to 30 years plus a 5-year general age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 35 years. For female candidates, the age range is 24 to 30 years plus an 8-year age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 38 years. The age and sex of transgender applicants will be determined according to the details on their CNIC.

This position is open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates. The required domicile for applicants is on an All Punjab Basis. Successful candidates can be posted anywhere within the province of Punjab.
Syllabus for Written Examination/Test
If a written test is conducted, it will consist of a single paper containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus for this examination is composed entirely of qualification-related Accounts, Auditing and Finance, which account for 100% of the test.
