Basic Scale, Name, and Nature of Post
The recruitment is for the position of Junior Psychologist, classified under Basic Scale 17 (BS-17). This position is being offered on a contract basis for a period of 03 years.
Prescribed Qualification and Experience
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree (second division) in Psychology from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. The academic training must have a special emphasis on the theory and practice of test construction, their use and interpretation, statistical methods, and research techniques.
Age Limits
The age criteria vary based on gender. For male candidates, the eligible age range is 21 to 32 years plus a 5-year general age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 37 years. For female candidates, the age range is 21 to 32 years plus an 8-year age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 40 years. The age and sex of transgender applicants will be determined according to the details printed on their CNIC.
Gender, Domicile, and Place of Posting
This position is open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates. Applicants must hold a domicile from Punjab. The final place of posting will be at the PPSC Head Office in Lahore or its various Regional Offices.
Syllabus for Written Examination/Test
If a written test is conducted, it will consist of a single paper containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes.
