Basic Scale, Name, and Nature of Post
The recruitment is for the position of Engineer Lab, classified under Basic Scale 17 (BS-17). This position is being offered on a contract basis for a period of 03 years.
Prescribed Qualification and Experience
Candidates must possess a B.Sc degree (second division) in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
Age Limits
The age criteria vary based on gender. For male candidates, the eligible age range is 21 to 28 years plus a 5-year general age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 33 years. For female candidates, the age range is 21 to 28 years plus an 8-year age relaxation, totaling a maximum of 36 years. The age and sex of transgender applicants will be determined according to the details printed on their CNIC.
Gender, Domicile, and Place of Posting
This position is open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates. The required domicile for applicants is on an All Punjab Basis. Successful candidates can be posted all over Punjab.
Syllabus for Written Examination/Test
If a written test is conducted, it will consist of a single paper containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus for this examination is divided into three distinct sections:
- B.Sc Electrical Engineering questions account for 40% of the test. (40 MCQs)
- B.Sc Mechanical Engineering questions account for 40% of the test. (40 MCQs)
- General Knowledge questions account for the remaining 20% of the test (20 MCQs), which includes Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.
