Basic Scale, Name, and Nature of Post

The recruitment is for the position of Junior Computer Operator, classified under Basic Scale 12 (BS-12). This position is being offered on a regular basis.

Prescribed Qualification and Experience

Candidates can qualify for this position through either of the following educational tracks:

• A Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) from a recognized Board along with a three-month diploma in MS Office from a recognized Institute.
• An ICS (Second Division) from a recognized board.

Additionally, all candidates must possess a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English on a computer.

Age Limits

The age criteria are defined specifically for female applicants. The eligible age range is 18 to 25 years plus an 08-year general age relaxation in the upper age limit, resulting in a maximum age limit of 33 Years.

Gender, Domicile, and Place of Posting

This position is open to female candidates only. The required domicile for applicants is on an All Punjab basis. Successful candidates can be posted anywhere in the Punjab.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test

If a written test is conducted, it will consist of a single paper containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. The proportion of questions in the MCQ test consists entirely of MS Office and I.T-related questions, accounting for 100% of the test content.

According to the official note, only those candidates who pass the written test will be called to take the English Typing Test and Proficiency Test.
