Emily Brontë wrote only one novel: Wuthering Heights (1847), published under the pseudonym Ellis Bell. Jane Eyre was written by her sister Charlotte Brontë; Shirley and Villette are also Charlotte's. Agnes Grey was written by the third Brontë sister, Anne. Emily also wrote poetry, collected in Poems by Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell.
