Casanova's Chinese Restaurant (1960) is the fifth novel in Anthony Powell's twelve-volume sequence A Dance to the Music of Time. Powell's sequence is one of the longest and most ambitious works in English fiction, tracing English upper-class and artistic life from the 1920s to the 1970s through the narrator Nick Jenkins's observations.
