Curriculum has four basic components: (1) Objectives/Goals — what learners should achieve, (2) Content/Subject matter — what is to be learned, (3) Learning experiences/Methods — how it will be taught, and (4) Evaluation — how learning will be assessed. This four-component model is widely accepted in curriculum theory (Tyler's Rationale, 1949) and forms the foundation of curriculum design and development.
