Panel dialogue is a variation of the discussion method in which a small group of participants (panel) discuss a topic before the class, who then join the discussion. It is an interactive, collaborative technique that exposes students to multiple perspectives on an issue. Like all discussion methods, it promotes critical thinking, communication skills, and deeper understanding. Other discussion forms include seminars, debates, symposia, and buzz groups.
