Preparing textual material is the aspect a teacher is least able to self-evaluate through classroom self-evaluation because it is a preparatory task done before teaching, not directly observable during the lesson. Self-evaluation during or after teaching primarily captures: how strategies worked, how AV aids were used, and how discipline was maintained — all observable in-class events. The quality of textual material preparation requires external review of the materials themselves.
