Educational evaluation is a comprehensive, two-way process involving both teachers and students assessing their respective performances. Teachers evaluate their instructional effectiveness (did students achieve objectives?); students evaluate their own learning progress (what did I understand/achieve?). Modern evaluation is reciprocal and collaborative. It encompasses self-evaluation, peer evaluation, formative and summative assessment — benefiting all stakeholders in the teaching-learning process.
