The Sinoatrial (SA) node is the natural pacemaker of the heart, located in the right atrium wall. It generates spontaneous electrical impulses at 60–100 beats per minute, setting the heart rate. These impulses spread through the atria to the AV node, then via the Bundle of His and Purkinje fibers to the ventricles.
