Phospholipids are components of cell membranes, not DNA. DNA is composed of nucleotides, each consisting of a phosphate group, deoxyribose sugar, and a nitrogenous base (adenine, thymine, guanine, or cytosine). Phospholipids contain glycerol and fatty acids — entirely different building blocks.
