Microsoft Word is launched by WINWORD.EXE, located in the Microsoft Office installation directory. Similarly: Excel = EXCEL.EXE, PowerPoint = POWERPNT.EXE, Outlook = OUTLOOK.EXE. These can be run directly from the Run dialog (Windows+R) to open the respective applications.
