In the standard Lorentz transformation, motion is assumed along one axis (typically the x-axis). The dimensions perpendicular to the direction of motion (y and z axes) are unchanged — there is no length contraction in those directions. Only the x-dimension contracts and time dilates. So two axes (y and z) remain unaffected.
