Australia is the only continent with no glaciers (excluding Antarctica). It is located predominantly in tropical and temperate latitudes and lacks the high-altitude mountain ranges necessary to sustain permanent glaciers. Asia (Himalayas, Karakoram), Europe (Alps, Scandinavia), and all other continents have glaciers.
